When it comes to having a successful home party there are several elements that come into play. However, like with most successful things the main key ingredient is to plan and prepare. You have to plan for success. If you’re more of someone who likes to fly by the seat of their pants you still need to have at least an outline of plan for an in-home party. Your plan should never be to completely wing it. Chances are if you wing it, it’s not going to turn out well. You risk looking unorganized, unprofessional, and lost. None of those make for an enjoyable experience for anyone involved. You need know what you’re going to say, what games you’re going to play, how to make the ordering process go smoothly, and prepare yourself for any questions that may be asked.
A big part – if not the biggest part – of preparing for your home party demonstration is knowing what all you need to bring with you. While you don’t want to be lugging around enough tubs that it looks like you’re moving into a small apartment, you still need to have a list of everything you will need. Here is a list of what I bring with me to my home parties.
Your demonstration products
Collapsible table and tablecloth
Props to display
Your date book
2 dozen pens
Any game materials you may need
Do you find this list helpful? Is there anything not on my list that you bring with you to your in-home parties?
